Rossella Tornquist has developed a technique reminiscent of filigree, or rather she has reinterpreted and given a new life to this technique. Her interlacing of metals gives an overall effect of delicacy and femininity to her work. The relationship and dialogue with the body have always been important factors to the artist, although these aspects have never limited or hindered her creativity. Inspiration comes from the natural world that surrounds us. The aesthetic value of an object is fundamental and this concept is translated into works that are enchanting and beautiful.
